A pair of Danish silver five-light candelabra, the baluster stems richly chased with Rococo ornamentation, detachable scroll branches. The reverses engraved “Fra medlemmer af Søofficersforeningen - 8. September1933” (From members of the Naval Officer's Association). Maker A. Dragsted, Copenhagen 1932. Weight 3219 g. H. 39 cm. (2)

Provenance: Hereditary Prince Knud and Hereditary Caroline-Mathilde of Denmark. The candelabra were a wedding present for their wedding in 1933, their daughter Her Highness Princess Elisabeth to Denmark (1935–2018); her heirs Josephine of Rosenborg, Camilla of Rosenborg and Feodora of Rosenborg.
