A fine well made shaft of a Sepik axe from the Massin district in New Guinea without its blade c 63 cm long, an aboriginal axe from Australia c 23 cm long, another c 38 cm long and a Danish neolithic thin butted fully polished flint axe c 18 cm long on a later shaft.

The sepik axe is missing its head and the Danish axe has a chipped edge.
