A Russian silver sunrise cigarette case, gilt interior, cover adorned with the Imperial double headed eagle, the gold closing set with a cabochon sapphire. Maker's mark JT, St. Petersburg 1899–1908, 84 standard. Weight 134 g. L. 9.1 cm.
In fitted leather case. Provenance: The present owner's grandfather received the cigarette case from Tzar during a visit to Denmark.
Condition
Normal patina due to age and use, including scratches and marks. Few minor dents.
