Wenzel Tornøe (b. Svendborg 1844, d. Frederiksberg 1907)
Interior from the artist's home. The persons reportedly represent the artist's parents and older sister. Signed and dated V. Tornøe 1861. Oil on paper laid on canvas with a seam down the middle. 96×126 cm.
Exhibited: Foreningen for National Kunst, 1971, no. 76.
Repairs and retouches. The canvas needs tightening. Minor hole at the upper edge. Crackles, tears in paper and peelings of varying size.
