Esquillion & De Choudens verge pocket watch, in multi-coloured gold case adorned with rubies and turquoises, engine-turned golden dial with white enamel plaques with black Arabic numerals, enamel minute chapterring and signature plaque, dial and movement signed respectively Esquivillion et Dechoudens and Esquivillion & Dechoudens. The back case interior with later silver plaque with Italian inscription “Ricordo di mia madre, 25 maggio 84” (in memory of my mother, 25th May 1884). Stem with serial no. 7115 and indistinct hallmark. Paris c. 1800. Weight in total 42 g. Case diam. 40 mm.
