An antique Feraghan carpet, West Persia. Allover herati pattern on a blue field. Early 20th century. 382×296 cm.
Provenance: The collection of Consul general Strand(Victor Bekmand Strand, b. 1898. d. 1983). Strand held a number of leading positions in Danish trade and industry, in 1942 he acquired, among others, Toms Chokoladefabrik. Appointed Consulate General in India 1950.
