Description

An early and unique freestanding three seater sofa with box shaped body of oak burl mounted on profiled legs. Loose cushions in seat, back and sides upholstered with original, patinated Niger leather. Made by special order 1916–17 by cabinetmaker N.M. Rasmussen. Holbæk. H. 73/76 cm. L. 226 cm. D. 79 cm.

Provenance: Chamberlain Valdemar Krieger thence by descent in family. Was at the Estruplund Estate until some years ago when it passed to another branch of the direct family than the current owner of Estruplund.
