A French Empire figural gilt bronze cloack case adorned with a standing Roman soldier the shield showing the chapter ring of white enamel, signed Gentilhomme Palais Royal a Paris. The original movement missing and replaced with a contempory movement. Early 19th century. H. 54 cm. W. 30 cm. D. 14.5 cm.

Wear due to age and use. NB!!! Please note that the clockwork is missing and has been replaced with a new clockwork with battery. One of the hands is broken. The figure is missing a spear, lance or flag.
