A Russian silver kovsh, gilt interior, of circular form with raised peak prow and hook handle, profiled upper body, front set with a cabochon-cut smokey quartz, raised on a low round base. Carl Fabergé in Moscow, marked with the Imperial Warrant as purveyor to the Imperial Russian Court, 1908–1917, 84 standard, scratched inventory no. 533. Weight c. 88 g. H. 5 cm. L. 11 cm.
Provenance: Acquired by the Danish seller's mother at Sotheby's in Geneva in the 1980s.
