English author and former intelligence officer Ian Fleming, best known for creating the iconic James Bond character (starting with ‘Casino Royale’ in 1953), proved a particular talent for combining espionage, adventure and sophistication and through his 14 novels about agent 007, he made a lasting impact on the spy genre.

Condition

This is an original b/w silver-gelatin press photograph from 1964, which appears with normal handling marks. Backside news telegram has yellowed slightly and is missing one corner.
