An early 19th century French Empire gilt bronze mantel clock, surmounted by a female figure playing a string instrument, the base decorated with cast ornaments, white enamel dial with Roman numerals. H. 35 cm.
Hind legs not original. Hairline crack to the dial. Pendulum enclosed. No guarantee of the function of the clock work. Wear due to age and use. Visible mounting hole at the top. The base lightly bent in one side.
