Seascape from the First Schleswig War (1848–50) with a Danish canon boat off the coast of South Jutland. Signed and dated Vilhelm Melby 49. Oil on canvas laid on canvas. 16×24 cm.

Provenance: Manager Carl Vigand Lose (inscribed on the stretcher). Commander J. K. Olsen in 1961.

Condition

Retouches. Minor crackles. In need of cleaning.
