A large Danish Rococo pinewood armchair with adjustable back. Mid 18th century.
Provenance: According to tradition the chair once belonged to Norwegian-Danish author Ludvig Holberg (1684–1754). Until 1934 the chair was kept at the Danish manor Tersløsegaard, until 1754 possessed by Ludvig Holberg.
Condition
Frame with worm holes and minor chips. Furthermore patina. Modern cover.
