A Chinese patinated bronze Gu vase cast with blooming prunus in relief and base with chilongs. Qing. Weight 1120 gr. H. 31 cm.

Provenance: Civil engineer Carl Gimbel (1881–1946) professor at the Imperial University of Beijing 1910–1912 with rank of Madarin of 3rd degree. 1913–1928 District Manager of the Salt taxes.

Condition

Wear due to age, drill hole at upper rim.
