“Cowhorn Chair”. Armchair of solid teak, back with inlays of Brazilian rosewood. Seat upholstered with black leather. Model JH 505. Designed 1952. Made by cabinetmaker Johannes Hansen.

Condition

Wear due to age and use, including scratches, marks and notches. The chair has loose assemblings and is rickety. Leather with stains, dirt and surface crackles. Foam porous in seat. Items that are made of Brazilian rosewood or contain parts of it, require a CITES export permit in order to be exported from Denmark to a country outside The European Union. Buyers residing outside the European Union are required to obtain this permit.
