Axel Salto (b. Copenhagen 1889, d. Frederiksberg 1961)

A circular stoneware dish with incised and embossed relief decor. Decorated with blue, grey and brown glaze. Signed Salto, 1931. H. 2.3 cm. Diam. 21.4 cm.

Condition

Normal patina due to age and use, including scratches and marks. Firing crack - visible on the top/front of the dish.
