A sick man on his deathbed. Signed with monogram and dated with time of death † 29. Nov. 1841 Kl. 6 ½. Drawing ink on paper laid on paper. Sheet size 12×15 cm.
Lundbye moved to Frederik's Hospital in November 1841, where he stayed with doctor, F. C. Krebs. The man depicted on his deathbed is likely a patient from here.

The paper has turned slightly brown. Mounting marks at upper corners. Few discolourations. Examined in frame.
