A Rococo silver snuff box, of bombé form, gilt interior, hinged and slightly domed lid cast with a romantic scenery. Maker's mark presumably P.I.K. and supposedly Sweden. 18th century. Weight 94 g. H. 2.5 cm. L. 7 cm.
Provenance: From the collection of supreme court litigator Ole Gangsted-Rasmussen (1911–1998).
Condition
Minor wear due to age, including few marks and scratches, primary in the bottom. Worn lid.
