Clara von Sivers (b. Pinneberg 1854, d. 1924)

Clara Krÿger began her artistic education at the age of 15. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen as well as in Paris, Stuttgart and Dresden. She is especially known for her floral paintings, but she also painted fruits and animals. She moved to Berlin in the 1890s and in her studio she gave lessons in art history and in the art of drawing to other women.
