A blanc de chine figure in the shape of a lying mother and her child and a painted earthenware figure in the shape of a sitting woman. The first stamp signed Kai Nielsen 1913, 29. Made and marked by Bing & Grøndahl. H. 11 cm. L. 18 cm. The latter signed HAK, Danmark. Made by Kähler. H. 19.5 cm. (2)

Condition

Some surface marks and scratches. Painted figure with a few minor chips on the edges of the base in and underneath paint.
