A pair of Japanese patinated bronze figures of a samurai and bijin, robes cast with decoration in relief of dragons and phoenix birds amidst flames, hers with flowers, each standing on a fenced base with pierced ornamentation. Meiji 1868–1912. H. 68 and 70 cm. (2)
