A gold and gilt-metal signet, rectangular bottom with rounded corners, set with a carnelian carved with a coat of arms, top in curved design with suspension barrel-shaped eye to hang in a chatelaine. 19th century. H. 4 cm. B. 3 cm. (2)

Condition

Minor wear due to age and use, including a few small scratches in the carnelian and a few chips on the gold frame of the same. The suspension ring and foliage examinted to 4,5k gold, the grooved top above the carnelian examnined to gilded metal, the base and the carnelian frame examined to 18 kt. gold
