Greÿs, with large folded palte of portraits of the Danish Kings, all copperengraved, together with 2 double-paged list of the christian kings. Bound in two nice 17th-18th century full vellum over veneer boards, red edges. Bindings restored. (2)

"These two volumes relate the history of Denmark from the legendary King Dan and up to the death of King Christian III, 1559. Written historically reverse during the years 1595 to 1603 by the Chancellor of Denmark, Arild Huitfeldt (1546–1609). [...].
