Russian military porcelain plate, decorated in gold and colours, centre with soldiers from the Second Infantry Corps of the Six Division: A soldier of the Murinskiy Infantry Regiment, A Drummer of the Nizhegorodsky Infantry Regiment, An Ober Officer of The Nizovskiy Yegersky Regiment and A non-comissioned officer of the Simbirsky Yegervsky Regiment, gilt border with ciselé Imperial eagles, military attributes, helmets over crossed swords, trumpets and foliage, gilt rim. The Imperial Porcelain Factory, St. Petersburg. Marked on base in Cyrillic blue H I for Tsar Nicholas I (1825–1855), signed N. Morozov (in Cyrillic), dated 1844 20/1 and numbered “19”. Diam. 24 cm.
