Description

Meissen porcelain figure “Fisherman” decorated in colours and gold, standing male with a basket full of under left arm and a stick with net over right arm. Standing on a cirkular base with club rush and Neptun spear in relief. Bottom incised No 146 and underglaze blue knob-sword mark. Germany 1885–1890. H. 54 cm.

Designed by Hermann Hultzsch 1882–1985.

Condition

chip at fish tail, stick repaired and the top of the net, both arms has been repaired, fishermans head has been off
