Louis Moe (b. Arendal 1857, d. Copenhagen 1945)

A pixie being spanked with a porridge spoon. Presumably a layout for an illustra tion with the title “I Et Hjørne af Borggaarden”. In a corner of the courtyart. Signed Louis Moe. Inscribed 1902. Gouache, drawing ink and watercolour on paper. 39×30 cm. Unframed.

The paper has turned slightly brown. Some minimal foxing. A few tears at edge and a few folds. Cropped.
