Karl Hansen Reistrup (b. Valby 1863, d. Copenhagen 1929)

A round earthenware jar modelled with four ducks' head. Decorated with ochre glaze with brownish black elements. Signed HAK. Made by Kähler, with traces of paper label. H. 22.5 cm. Diam. 32 cm.

Condition

Normal patina due to age and use, including scratches and marks. One duck's head with a repair on beak - later re-modelled.
