“Lucent” by All the Way to Paris | Denmark/Sweden.

All the Way to Paris (ATWTP) started as a graphic design duo in 2004 and has since evolved into an award-winning group of global talents with a passion for pushing the creative envelope and going beyond the boundaries of the expected to explore a broad spectrum of projects within visual communications.

The Lucent bench is an exercise in altering simple properties. An evolving design, its dynamic nature emerges as the viewer’s perspective shifts, transforming the solid, straight form into angles of transparency and new directions. The stained surface enhances the wood’s natural grain with a bold yet translucent colour. Lucent is crafted locally in Copenhagen from Swedish fir.

The chosen charity is Doctors Without Borders, also known as Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). This international, humanitarian organization provides emergency medical care for people in crisis situations. Médecins Sans Frontières works professionally and tirelessly, often in dangerous conditions where help is most needed.
