Axel Einar Hjorth (b. Krokek 1888, d. Stockholm 1959)

“SVEA”. Tall cabinet of stained birch, black lacquered top and base. Front with two doors, interior with two shelves and four pull-out trays. Designed 1934. This example manufactured 1935 by Nordiska Kompaniet (NK), Sweden, with maker's metal tag. H. 150 cm. D. 48 cm. W. 100 cm.

Condition

Overall good condition with normal signs of age and uses. Marks and scratches, mainly by keyhole, on corners/edges and base. Few old nicks and bruises. Adjustable shelves inside with some stains and scratches. One key included. Double marked by NK with round and numbered metal tag. Right door “drooping” slightly, approx. 0,3 cm.
