Interesting collection of more than 150 vols. of literature in French by authors such as Honoré de Balzac, A. Daudet, Eugène Fromentin, Fénelon, Gilbert Stenger and many more. Mostly published in Paris between 1920–1950. Many 1st eds., illustrated and bound with orig. wrappers in nice half morocco bindings. Many with top edge gilt. Most volumes are limited editions.
Provenance: Book collector and director of the Danish publishing house Høst & Søn, Ellis Francisco Lohse (1889–1973).
