A dagger for an officer? mid 19th cent. mounted in gilded brass with a grip in chequered bone plates, a small S-turned quillion ending in eagles heads and a rather heavy c 27 cm long single edged blade becoming double edged towards the point in a black leather scabbard with two mounts. The upper mount with a faint punched owner? initials.
