A Danish silver wine jug, gilt interior, of askos shape with applied cast goats, snake and flute playing angel, the front engraved with clusters of grapes, vines, birds and butterfly, leaf-clad scroll handle. Maker Arent Nicolai Dragsted, Copenhagen 1862. Weight 801 g. H. 21 cm.

According to seller the wine jug was part of the inventory at Kokkedal Castle in the early 20th century.
