A Regency bracket clock, dark polished wood with the arched top fitted with a handle, enclosing a white enamelled dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, the engraved movement signed 'Simon Samuel, London' with an anchor escapement and double striking a bell. Early 19th century. H. 40 cm. W. 26 cm. D. 20 cm.
Provenance: Consul General Hans Henning Schrøder (b. 1892- d. 1971).
