A Chinese patinated bronze censer, sides with stylized design and handles in the form of Fo-dog heads, supported by three chilongs. Presumably Tang 618–907. Weight 2439 gr. Diam. 27 cm. H. 10 cm. Wooden base incl.

Provenance: Sofie and Frederik Christian Mathiesen, who lived in China from 1915 to 1936 and worked in country's mining. They were friends of Sophus Black and family.
