Niels Skovgaard (b. Copenhagen 1858, d. Lyngby 1938)

An earthenware dish modelled with incised motifs in the shape of two angels. Decorated with glaze. Signed with monogram and dated 1896 on the back. Diam. 37 cm.

Condition

Normal patina due to age and use, including scratches and two minimal superficial chips in the glaze. One minor chip on the rim.
