A study of a Pompeian mural painting depicting a floating cupid being led by two sea monsters. Unsigned. Inscribed Köbke. Pencil on paper laid on paper. Sheet size 25×18.5 cm. Unframed.

Provenance: Descendants of the Skovgaard family.

Condition

The paper has turned slightly brown. Stains and blotches. Leftover mounting tape recto and verso.
