A Russian Neoclassical silver coffee pot, of oval form, gilt interior, lid, spout and body cast with beading borders, black painted wood lid finial and handle. Jacov Semenov Maslennikov, alderman Alexei Kosyrev, assay scrape, assayer Andrei Titov 1786, Moscow town mark. Weight incl. wood c. 506 g. H. 13.5 cm.

Provenance: The Danish Envoy and Consul General Hans Poul Hoffmeyer (1893–1962). Thence by descent with residence in Denmark, until today.
