An original b/w silver gelatin press photograph of King Bhumibol of Thailand (1927–2016) and Queen Consort Sirikit (b. 1932) immediately prior to receiving the President of the Federal German Republic, Heinrich Lübke (1894–1972), in Bangkok on November 21, 1962. Back with glued-on describing text in German as well as agency stamp (Deutsches Pressefoto). Double glazing and oak wood frame. Visible size 18×22 cm. Frame size 29×33 cm.
King Bhumibol is the longest reigning monarch in Thai history with a reign of 70 years. He sat on the throne from 1946–2016.
A few scratches and pressure marks. A few stains. Furthermore normal signs of age and handling.
