Bjørn Wiinblad (b. Copenhagen 1918, d. 2006)

An earthenware centrepiece with two candle holders. Modelled in the shape of a female with flowers. Decorated with polychrome glazed motifs on a light grey base. Signed monogram -75, Danmark, V.53. With paper label from Illums Bolighus. H. max. 29.5 cm. The inner diam. of candle holders ca. 2.5 cm.

Condition

Normal patina due to age and use, including scratches and marks. The two upper modelled leaves next to candle holders both have a couple of minimal glaze peelings.
