The creator of the present image, Cecil W. Stoughton (1920–2008), was the first official presidential photograph in The White House and was trusted with the task of following John F. Kennedy in order to depict his duties as well as his daily life.
This is an original b/w press photograph from 1962, which is missing a corner (upper right) and has minor damages in both left and right side. Furthermore normal signs of handling.
