A pair of rare, patinated bronze and metal table lamps. Shade of smoke coloured glass over cylindrical opal glass shades. These examples designed and made 1958 for the “Giraffe Restaurant” at SAS Royal Hotel. H. 22 cm. (2)

The lamp was only made for the “Giraffe Restaurant” at the SAS Royal Hotel. The lamp was originally made in a taller version with several glasses but was later shortened for practical reasons. Literature: Carsten Thau og Kjeld Vindum, “Arne Jacobsen”, 1998, ill. p. 437.
