A Louis XVI white marble and gilt bronze obelisk mantel clock, bell striking movement and obelisk case surmounted by an armillary sphere above dancing maidens, a lion lambrequin and playful putti, the sides with martial trophies, raised on a coloured marble plinth with bollard corners and enclosed by chains, white enamel dial signed 'Piolaine a Paris'.
