A Grand Tour figure, bronze sculpture after the antique, Narcissus with a pelt tied around his shoulder and Roman sandals, round profiled base. Italy, 19th century. H. 62 cm. Diam. 25.5 cm.
The figure is after the Roman figure discovered in 1862 at Vicolo del Balcon Pensile in Pompeii in the House of Narcissus, now in the National Archaeological Museum in Naples.
