Kaare Klint (b. Frederiksberg 1888, d. Copenhagen 1954)
Mahogany bergére with Brazilian rosewood inlays and “shoes”. Sides and back with woven cane. Loose cushions in seat and back upholstered with patinated Niger leather. Model 4488. Designed 1931. This example made 1950s by Rud. Rasmussen Cabinetmakers, with maker's paper label.
