This steel Rolex 6263 is named after the famous French actor Jean-Paul Belmondo (b. 1933), known as one of the major figures of French New Wave cinema. Jean-Paul Belmondo is also a known Rolex enthusiast, and can be seen wearing his black dial reference 6263 in two movies, including the film ‘’L’Animal’’. The original black dial reference 6263 that Jean-Paul Belmondo wore was auctioned by his son Paul Belmondo in 2013, making this model highly collectable and interesting.
