Unknown photographer: An original black-and-white photograph of Marilyn Monroe. Ca. 1956. Photo size 12.5×9 cm. Frame size 21×30 cm.

Marilyn Monroe first married the neighbor's son, Jim Dougherty. She was then 16 years old. The second time - just after her big break with the movie “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes” in 1953 - she married Joe DiMaggio, then America's greatest baseball player. The third time, in 1956, she married the liberal author Arthur Miller, who depicted his cohabitation with Marilyn Monroe in the plays “Death of a Salesman” and “After the Fall”.

Condition

This is an original black-and-white photograph from ca. 1956, which shows tiny scratches as well as a few superficial cracklings. Furthermore pin-holes in each corner. Please notice the size of the photograph.
