A selection of Chinese export silver, comprising a dish on low foot and a coaster, both with pierced rim and scrolling dragons. Furthermore an egg cup, a salt cellar with blue glass liner and four pepper sprinklers in shape of stupa, pagoda and tortoise respectively, one cast with prunus. Weight app. 320 g. Provenance: Purchased by the present owner's family while working for “Store Nordiske”, the Great Nordic communications company, in China between 1917–1933.
Ordinary wear due to age and use. Pepper sprinkler decorated with prunus has a dent at the side. Glass liner with minimal nicks.
