“Y-chair/The Wisbone Chair”. Four black-lacquered armchairs, seats with woven papercord. Model CH 24. Designed 1949. Manufactured and stamped or with label by Carl Hansen & Son, 1960s. (4)

“The Wisbone Chair” was presented at the exhibition “Købestævnet” in Fredericia, August 1950.

Condition

Wear due to age and use. Marks and scratches. Seats with different patina and stains, one chair has a little defective papercord. Two chairs are stamped in the frame. Two chairs have a label, one of which is from Johannes Hansen, who has sold the chair.
