Travelling in space is a costly passion! Between 1960 and 1973 NASA spent 28 billion dollars in their endeavours to develop rockets, computers, tools, etc. for the Apollo programme. Converted to present day numbers it is the equivalent of 288 billion dollars or roughly 2,000 billion Danish kroner.
