Kay Bojesen (b. Copenhagen 1886, d. Gentofte 1958)
Large monkey figure of patinated teak and limba wood. Movable head, arms and legs. Made and marked by Kay Bojesen, Denmark, Copyright. H. 48 cm. L. max. 60 cm.
Literature: Lars Hedebo Olsen: “Kay Bojesen - Linjen skal smile”, ill. p. 177.
Light patina due to age and use, including some surface scratches and marks. The figure's right leg is slightly loose in fitting - can presumably be remedied by tightening the screw.
